D.R. Horton’s Chicago Division has announced the opening of two distinctive model homes at Bristol Park, a new upscale single-family home community in southwest suburban New Lenox.
Bristol Park is the second new-home community being developed by the widely respected national homebuilder in New Lenox. Nearby Heather Glen has already opened, with two model homes open to visitors.
“We are making a major commitment to home buyers who are interested in living in popular New Lenox,” said Chris Naatz, Vice President of Sales for D. R. Horton’s Chicago Division. “Bristol Park and Heather Glen give both local buyers and those who have recently discovered New Lenox the chance to purchase newly constructed homes that feature the newest designs and technology. We invite all interested buyers to visit the models at Bristol Park and also get acquainted with the two model homes at Heather Glen.”
Bristol Park will include 140 single-family homes when complete, and three innovative floor plans have been designed especially for luxury home buyers. The two-story designs range in size from 2,753 to 3,226 square feet, with three to five bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, basements, brick on all sides of the first floor and three-car attached garages. A monument entry provides an impressive sense of arrival. A selection of homes for quick delivery includes all three designs. Base prices range from $349,990 to $389,990.
“These homes have been designed for the way families live today,” Naatz said. “They feature flexible spaces so buyers can determine how the rooms best meet their needs, and we think buyers will agree that our kitchens and informal living areas are quite spectacular. In addition to being practical and livable, these homes are memorable for the elegant use of arched doorways, imposing columns, and quality appointments throughout. In addition, buyers can choose from a wide range of options to personalize the homes, including full basements, serenity showers, and much more.”
The Newbridge model is a 2,753-square-foot home with four bedrooms and a loft, two-and-a-half baths, partial basement, and three-car attached garage, priced from $349,990.
The foyer is flanked by a dining room and a flex room that can be used as a living room or den with double-door entry. Passing through an arched ceiling into the informal living area, visitors can view the family room, notable for its arched and columned separation from a spacious breakfast room. The adjacent impressive kitchen features an extra-wide serving peninsula and breakfast bar, food preparation island, walk-in pantry, and designer cabinets of staggered heights, all with granite countertops. A door leads to a laundry room/owner’s entry with access to the three-car garage. Large windows make each room bright and delightful.
Upstairs, the model shows a master bedroom with a tray ceiling with crown molding, a room-sized walk-in closet and a luxury master bath with soaking tub, separate shower with available serenity shower, and double-bowl vanity. A large second family room can accommodate several activities, and two of the three other bedrooms have walk-in closets. A hall bath completes the second floor.
“Perhaps the most spectacular of the homes is the Woodford,” Naatz said. “The informal living area in this home is so striking, yet so inviting that visitors are likely to find it unforgettable. It must be seen for the full visual effect.”
The Woodford has 3,226 square feet of space, with four bedrooms, loft, two-and-a-half baths, partial basement, and three-car attached garage, priced from $389,990.
The Woodford includes a flex room and powder room at the front of the home, along with an elegant staircase with landing and oversized window that invites in the light. To the rear of the home is the grand area that makes the home unusually beautiful. The huge kitchen features an extra-large island with sink and dishwasher, framed by impressive columns and breakfast bar that comfortably seats four or five people. The kitchen also has a U-shaped area with deluxe cabinets of staggered heights with decorative detail, granite counters, a walk-in pantry, and stainless-steel appliances. The island/breakfast bar with columns overlooks a large light-drenched dining room and inviting family room with stone-faced fireplace. A den with a double-door entry opens from the dining room. The Woodford also offers a large owner’s entry with a walk-in closet and access to the garage.
Continuing the elegant ambiance, the second floor of this spacious home features a master bedroom highlighted by an available tray ceiling with crown molding, a room-sized walk-in closet, and luxury bath with huge shower and double-bowl vanity. Three other bedrooms with walk-in closets and a large loft are served by a hall bath and conveniently located laundry room. Options to personalize the home include a first-floor in-law suite with full bath and fifth bedroom.
